Whether you need shipping to Canada, shipping to the UK, shipping to Australia, or shipping elsewhere, you have the opportunity to choose from multiple options and reasonable shipping rates for The House of Stamps international orders. 

Shipping Information 

How long does it take for my order to ship?  

Standard Shipping Methods (USPS Priority Mail, First Class): We ship all orders as quickly as possible, but please note that there may be processing delays in shipping during sale events and peak shopping days. If you need to receive your package by a specific date, you can always contact Customer Care for help in choosing the right shipping method to get it there on time!  

Expedited Shipping (Express and ASAP): Orders must be received by 12 p.m. MST to ship same day. If received after 12 p.m., orders will ship the following business day, Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). 

Domestic (US) Shipping Rates & Delivery Options 

For Contiguous US: 

We have three domestic (contiguous US states) flat rate shipping options. 

  • First Class Mail: Delivered by USPS. After your order is processed, transit time typically 4 to 9 business days, with delivery Monday-Saturday. Insurance is only included upon request (additional fees may apply).
  • Priority Mail (Small FR Box):  Delivered by USPS. After your order is processed, transit time typically 2 to 3 business days, with delivery Monday-Saturday. Fee includes up to $200 in insurance and tracking. If you prefer to insure to the full value – please contact us for the increased rate. If you wish to waive insurance you assume all liability for lost packages.   

For Outlying US Territories: 

  • First Class Mail, Priority Mail (Small FR Box): Delivered by USPS. Transit time typically 15 to 20 business days, with delivery Monday-Saturday. If your order qualifies, this option will automatically show up in the checkout process.

For International Customers:

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! We ship to Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, and 45 other regions!

How much will it cost to ship to my country?

We ship USPS Priority International. The Small Flat Rate Box charges are $26.85 to Canada; $37.70 to Australia; and $36.70 for all other countries. These shipping rates are based on the carrier’s standard fees and the total weight of item(s) in your order.

  • USPS Priority Mail (Small Flat Rate Box): Delivered by USPS. After your order is processed, transit time typically 10 to 14 business days, with delivery Monday-Saturday. Fee includes up to $200 in insurance and tracking. If you prefer to insure to the full value – please contact us for the increased rate. If you wish to waive insurance you assume all liability for lost packages. 

Also, please note that PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are the only ways we’re able to process international payments. All prices are displayed in US dollars. We are also currently unable to accept international phone orders. 

How long does it take for my order to ship and arrive?

We ship all orders as quickly as possible, but please note that there may be processing delays in shipping during sale events and peak shopping days. If you need to receive your package by a specific date, you can always contact us for help in choosing the right shipping method to get it there on time!

Once your order is shipped, your transit time will vary depending on your shipping option, destination country, and the customs process for your country. 

Heads Up, Canada! Canada Post service interruptions will only affect the delivery of orders shipping to P.O. boxes, & may increase duties & fees at the border.  

What are your international shipping options?    

1. United States Postal Service (USPS) First-Class Mail International – our most affordable option   

  • Delivery typically takes between 7-21* business days once shipped from our Fulfillment Center. After your order has shipped, expected delivery in:
    • About 7 business days to Canada
    • About 10 business days to Europe & Latin America
    • About 14 business days to Asia & Africa
  • This shipping option does not provide tracking information.
  • Available for international orders weighing up to 1 lb.
  • *Please be aware that these are estimated delivery times. Delays in customs can also increase the delivery time. 

2. United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail International (Small FR Box): 

  • Delivery typically takes between 3-10* business days worldwide once shipped from our fulfillment center. After your order has shipped, expected delivery in:
  • About 3-5 business days to Canada
  • About 6-10 business days to Australia 
  • About 5-10 business days to the UK
  • This shipping option does include delivery status updates.
  • *Please be aware that these are estimated delivery times. Delays in customs can also increase the delivery time. 

What about duties, customs, and additional fees? 

We ship all international orders DDU (delivered duty unpaid), and we do not collect VAT (value added taxes). All taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the package. Though we cannot predict what your particular charges will be, you can contact your local customs office for more information regarding your country’s custom policies. 

Returns/Exchange/Refund Policy 

Returns Eligibility Window: All products are sold as “All Sales Final”. You assume the responsibility for your purchase, no refunds will be issued. You may contact us within 30 days from the purchase date if you wish to exchange your purchase for a product of equal or lesser value. If you choose to exchange your purchase for an item of lesser value, there will be no refund for the difference in price. To qualify for a return, items must be received back to our shop within 30 days of your original order shipment date (as printed on your packing slip). 

Packaging Requirements

  • Enclose stamp(s) in newspaper and secure in bubble wrap packaging. Pack the contents securely to prevent shifting, and tape all the edges with reinforced tape. Enclose any personal notes to help clarify the return/exchange within your parcel.

Items Not Eligible for Store Credit:

  • Free gifts or promotional items with retail value.
  • Returns received in damaged/worn condition.
  • Returns received after 30 days of the original order shipment date.
  • Shipping charges, except in cases where we have made a shipping error.

Items Eligible for Store Credit Only:

  • Returns received by THOS before 30 days after the original order shipment date (as printed on your packing slip).
  • Gift recipients are not eligible for exchanges.

How to Make a Return

As long as your items are eligible for return, follow these easy steps:

  • 1. Include your original invoice in your package. (If you misplaced it, simply go to My Account, click on your Order History, select the right order number, and print it out.)
  • 2. Circle the PRODUCT NAME of the item(s) you wish to return.
  • 3. State the reason for the return.
  • 4. Ship the package to: THOS Returns, 124 S Bradley St, Gallup, New Mexico 87301.
  • 5. Send your package back to us via your shipping method of choice. Be sure to use a method that provides a tracking number so you can follow its journey!

International Exchanges*

*Unfortunately, due to the increased cost of international shipping, at this time the customer is responsible for shipping cost. To make an exchange, it must be received within 60 days of the original order shipment date! 

***Once your order leaves our shop, it is in the Post Office’s hands and we are not responsible if the package is stolen, lost or damaged parcels.***
